Sharon J. Dent

Overview

Sharon is a native of Florida, but has lived in Burlington since 1989, joining her long-time co-workers with the formation of Pittman & Steele in 2014. Prior to moving to Burlington, she worked as a paralegal in law firms, in Boston, New Orleans, and New York in the areas of securities, oil and gas and admiralty, and tax controversy.

Sharon, a North Carolina certified paralegal, works primarily in the commercial transaction and business law areas. She has served on the boards of Company Shops Market and New Leaf Society, and currently serves on the boards of Burlington Beer Works and Humane Society of Alamance County.

Outside of work, Sharon enjoys being involved in the Burlington community, gardening, and reading.
